Focusing and Empathic Communication

in El Salvador

Resilience Circles
are spreading!

Melba Jiménez, CFT, is now leading Resilience Circles with women in the communities of Cinquera, Copapayo, and Ilobasco.

She is also working with youth involved in community radio in the town of San Francisco Lempa. They are going to interview her on their radio station on June 15!

AND she leads several circles a month at the University of El Salvador.

Several people have expressed interest in being trained to lead Resilience Circles. Melba can’t do it all, so please help us send Beatrice Blake back to El Salvador to train new trainers.

Go to The Focusing Institute's El Salvador page. or donate with PayPal to our crowdfunding campaign.

Resilience circle at the University of El Salvador

To Holland for Children Focusing Training!

Thanks to Harriet Teeuw and Rene Veugelers for raising funds to send someone from El Salvador to their training in Children Focusing, July 15-22 in Holland! We will also do a workshop on Community Focusing there on July 13.

Teaching Focusing and Listening combined with Empathic

Communication empowers people to

reduce stress and conflict,

and to get in touch with their own

forward movement

and creative thinking.

Check out Yara’s story!

Yara Jiménez, President of Nuevos Rumbos, has written a great article on the TFI website about her experiences leading Resilience Circles in the village of Buen Pastor. There are also some lovely quotes from the women there about what the Resilience Circles mean to them. We have had to stop going to the villages of Buen Pastor, Hector Lara and William Fuentes because we needed to respond to requests from other communities.

Help us continue our work there by donating to The Focusing Institute's El Salvador page. or to our crowdfunding campaign.   Muchas gracias!!!
